Fifteen-year-old ADELE wants to die. Since the death of her brother everything around her feels foreign and strange. The only thing that remains in her hard, farm-based life is a deep sense of sadness. TIMO (43) is on the run. Convicted of murder eight years ago he has finally managed to escape prison. Injured and exhausted he seeks refuge in Adele’s parent’s farmhouse. When Adele discovers the escapee she offers him a deal: she will help him get away, but he will have to kill her once he is safe. With no other choice, Timo accepts this morbid pact. Marked by suspicion and mistrust, their journey will take them all the way to Marseille. The lines between culprit and victim blur. Rough Nico can barely stand the young girl’s presence. Adele on the other hand continuously reminds him of his dark commitment. Though, the harder the situation becomes the more this strange couple will need to trust each other to reach their disparate goals.
